When you stalk across the deck of your ship, you should have footwear that matches your swashbuckling style.  The boots have a zipper down the insole, which make them much easier to put on. There are multiple straps running horizontally across the front. Many of the straps have brass-colored studs. They match a buckle on the top strap near the cuff of the boot. There are additional buckles on the boot below the ankle.
