There are at least 25 species of scorpions in New Mexico, and people there will warn you: every single one of those scorpions wants to get into your boots. They are notorious for this. They will do anything. In this case, they'll even become socks. Which actually works out, because the scorpion finally gets to reach its life goal (look how happy it is!) and YOU get to wear some really badass and comfortable scorpion socks. Who knew a scenario existed where a scorpion in your shoe would be mutually beneficial?
